Verdict

Kantata names the forward looking numbers better than anyone on this page. Its homepage says forecast using live project and pipeline data and instant margin and risk clarity, and its financial management page names real time visibility into current forecasts and revenue, monitoring revenue, margins and fees, timely accounts receivable and BI dashboards for real time insights. Receivables is a number most PSA vendors leave out. The integrations page names QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Salesforce, plus MuleSoft, Workato and over 1,200 prebuilt connectors. It would rank higher if it printed a price. It prints none.

What customers praise

The pipeline line matters for a services firm, because next quarter's utilization is set by deals that have not closed yet, and Kantata is the only vendor here that says it forecasts from both. Named customers on the homepage include Deloitte, Sage and Hitachi. It shipped Agent Studio in September 2026, by its own press page.

What customers criticise

No price, no plan names and no trial: the pricing page is a form to a PSA advisor. An IDC excerpt on its own homepage places it for mid market and enterprise services firms, so a 20 person consultancy is outside the stated fit. A separate Kantata on Salesforce product sits in the footer, so ask which one you are being quoted. The 33 percent increase in on time delivery and the case study figures are vendor claims.

Best for

A US consultancy, IT services or agency group of 100 people or more that forecasts from pipeline as well as delivery and needs QuickBooks, NetSuite or Sage Intacct joined to Salesforce.
